On 24 Dec 2014 my amazing husband and soulmate of 12 years suddenly collapsed and died from a massive heart attack caused by an undiagnosed heart condition.  Shaz was the most vibrant and energetic mancunian of a man i've ever known.  He was also a brilliant father to our three kids, a loving brother to his siblings and an amazing uncle.  When he died he was just about three years into his new career as a secondary school Art Teacher.  Teaching is something he absolutely loved, he even had a mini fan club at school!

On Sat 6th July, myself, my mum and sister are embarking on this insane 24mile 12hour hike of the Yorkshire 3 peaks to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Shaz (ar kid ).  

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease.  They do great work raising awareness, funding public defribulators and training people in delivering life saving CPR.  CPR is something I thought I'd never do and I found myself on the end of a phone delivering CPR.... but sadly it was too late.  Please donate what you can, a few quid is enough
