Kilimanjaro for Rob · 1 August 2019

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

For my Brother in Law Rob who was diagnosed with Early onset Alzheimers at the age of 51 in 2010. I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in August 2019 for Rob and my sister Kim who is a true hero just like many other sufferers and carers of this cruel illness.

To add to this i lost my leg back in 2004 in a work related accident, this has been lifechanging and a big challenge for myself.

I am super determined and driven, and know i am going to reach the top for Rob and many others. With your help you can help me raise as much money and awareness as possible for this amazing cause!

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
