Story
We are Jamie and Hamish Landale - a Father and Son (54yrs & 18yrs), who are aiming to raise as much money as humanly possible so that Alzheimer's Research may one day (soon) find a cure for this awful condition.
In lockdown, Jamie rashly announced possibly after a glass of red too many, that he could do another marathon (it has been 23 years since the last one), Hamish couldn't let his "old" man do it alone and suggested they do it together and raise money for a great cause.
The gauntlet was thrown down, Jamie's pride would not let him back out, and neither would Hamish!
Our Father/ Grandfather died of Dementia and our Mother in Law / Granny is currently struggling with the horrors of it. We will be running for them.
Many of us have loved ones affected by dementia, and we would love to run in honor/memory of yours, just donate £50 or more and email jamie@thecriefffoodco.co.uk, giving the name of who you wish us to run for and we will have their name printed on our marathon day shirts.
We have 26 spaces to fill, 1 for each marathon mile. David Landale and Tessa Downshire will be miles 25 and 26 we would love to fill the other 24 and run for your loved ones too.
Any support you can give will help us to get around the course and more importantly raise money for this incredibly worthy cause.
Please please support us in our endeavor, we are training hard, which comes a great deal easier for one of us! This is an amazing cause doing great work. For us, it will be worth every step, and your support will make it all the better.
THANK YOU
