Physics teacher, Mr. Clive Thomas, at the grand age of 65, will be attempting the Land’s End to John O’Groats challenge by bike in July this year.

The route being followed by him, and his 5 fellow cyclists, will see them attempting the 1000-mile challenge in 10 days.

Mr. Thomas has previous experience of cycling between the two ends of the country and was successful in completing the challenge in 7 days back in 1997. This time it may take a little bit longer! However, Mr. Thomas is busy training for the event as we speak.
