Lands End to John O'Groats · 24 September 2020

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thanks for visiting my page.

Myself and three colleagues will be cycling Lands End to John O'Groats in late September. From the rocky cliffs and pounding seas of Land’s End, through the rolling hills of Dartmoor, passing the stunning mountains of the Lake District and along the Lochs of Great Glen to our finish line at the Northernmost point of the UK mainland. Land's End to John O'Groats will test us over nearly 1000 miles to our limits. .

I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support. Many of you will know that i had life-saving surgery on my heart back in 2012 and the support from the BHF was invaluable during my post operational recovery. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!

Every contribution helps.
