National 3 Peaks · 8 June 2019

Ivison Trust (formerly Pace) is a national charity working to keep children safe from exploitation by supporting their parents, disrupting the offenders and working in partnership with police and family services. We also train professionals to support affected children and their parents.

Story

Despite our inability to ever keep the same walking speed or do any training, Andy, Lou, Emily and Abi will be lacing up our walking boots to struggle up and fall down the highest peak in each country on the British mainland.

We've roped Swales Snr in to drive the 460 mile route between the mountains and through rain or shine (hopefully shine), blisters, map reading arguments and pratfalls, we'll be starting our National Three Peaks challenge at the foot of Ben Nevis at 5pm on Saturday 8th June, getting lost on Scafell Pike overnight, and staggering down Snowdon by 5pm on Sunday 9th June.

We are walking to raise money for Pace, a charity that supports families affected by child sexual exploitation. This is a cause that is chronically under-funded and, sadly, very much in need.

Pace is small but mighty, giving amazing support to families devastated by child sexual exploitation. They equip parents with the emotional support to fight for their children, the knowledge to understand how perpetrators manipulate their victims, and the skills to work with the police, collect evidence and eventually bring the abusers to court.

Please support our walk and help the incredibly dedicated and utterly brilliant team at Pace continue their amazing work.
