I am running (/attempting) the Virgin London Marathon in April 2010 in support of the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution). They are a smashing cause that saves lives at sea around the coasts of the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, as well as on selected inland waterways. In 2009, they rescued 15,957 people.
