Celebrating 40 years of the British Tinnitus Association

Story

I will be running the Boston Marathon on 20 April to raise money for the Tinnitus Association. This is a charity close to my heart as my husband suffers terribly from it. Tinnitus is a constant ringing, buzzing, whooshing or humming sound in people's heads that never ends. Imagine a world with no silence -  it significantly impacts the quality of life of the 10% of the UK population who live with pervasive tinnitus. There is currently no cure, but I'm convinced there is one to be found.

The British Tinnitus Association works incredibly hard to raise awareness and work with medical professionals to pioneer new treatments. They receive no government funding and rely solely on fundraising activities, grants, donations and gifts.

Any sponsorship money will help people well into the future, and facilitate research which might make tinnitus a thing of the past.
