Story
When I was contacted by the Stroke Association to see if I wanted to abseil down from Battersea Power Station my initial reaction was No! However, it is happening a week before I have a very big birthday and I thought I should scare the living daylights out of myself to celebrate... so eventually found myself replying: YES! I would very much like to participate!! Since I agreed, my father has suffered from at least one transient ischaemic attack (TIA) like a mini stroke and so it has suddenly become a very relevant cause for me to support.
