Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Our mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. These serious mental illnesses ruin and, too often, take lives. Our Helpline is available online or by phone for anyone suffering, as well as their family and friends.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am skydiving for Beat to raise funds to support them in the amazing work they do for people with eating disorders, their promotion of eating disorder research, their support for family and friends of eating disorder sufferers, and their campaigns to spread eating disorder awareness and reduce eating disorder stigma worldwide.

I have not always had the healthy relationship with my body and food as I have now - and even now that relationship is far from perfect. But I am learning myself, and trying to teach my daughters along the way that food is not our enemy, that health - both physical and mental - is the most important thing in the world, and that we need fuel, exercise and rest to become strong and healthy!

Big shoutout to my tweenie for getting us involved with this and thanks so much for your support!
