27 July, the morning after. Well, that must rate as one of the hardest things I have ever done, but despite hills, blisters and torrential rain we finished, we finished together, and we finished almost exactly in line with our 26 hour, 10 minute target time. On behalf of the four walkers in the team I would like to publically express our thanks to Ken and Tony who looked after us royally in our brief stage breaks: without them we could not have succeeded. We would also especially like to thank everyone who was kind enough to sponsor us: you gave a wider meaning to our personal challenge, and helped us to raise more than £2,200 for these two deserving charities. Thank you.

Four walkers (Bridget Nisbet, Richard Bourne, Ian Nisbet and Glyn Hughes) and our highly experienced support crew (Ken Dummer and Tony Smillie) will attempt to complete the Trailwalker Challenge and walk 100km in the South Downs over 30 hours on 25 and 26 July 2015. This will be a hard event: the longest non-stop walk that any of us has ever done, but well worth it in order to raise money for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
