We support people in the north of Scotland who are affected by cancer or a blood disorder. Working hand-in-glove with the NHS, we take care of the ‘big little things’, and we fund cutting-edge equipment and research. Every penny makes an impact as our operating costs are covered by Balmoral Group.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Linda and I are both fundraising for Friends of Anchor so we will both use this page ❤️

As you may know, I (Laura) work at The ANCHOR Unit. This is a collective of specialised wards and clinics within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary - the central hub of cancer and haematology care for the North-east of Scotland.

Friends of Anchor offer person-centred wellbeing services which are freely available for every patient, with programmes also available for the staff caring for them.

They invest in medical equipment and pioneering research to push the boundaries in how we diagnose, treat and care for people, while our pledge to promote clinical excellence includes funded development programmes for NHS clinical staff to enhance knowledge and expertise.

Thanks for supporting us and supporting the patients and staff at the Anchor Unit. It means the world!
