At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the Manchester 10K run in memory of Grandad, Roy Aspinall. My Grandad suffered from a rare form of dementia that was misdiagnosed in its early stages. This fact that he was misdiagnosed highlights the lack of knowledge we have about dementia. So I would like to raise as much money as possible to fund research into the causes of dementia.

I have chosen to run in aid of the The Alzeimer's Society as they are committed to funding research into dementia.Their aim is to help improve the lives of those with dementia and eventually find a cure so that no one else must suffer.

Any amount you can give would be really appreciated. I am no runner so this is a big challenge for me. Thank you for your support :D
