Virgin London Marathon 2014 · 13 April 2014 ·

Every week in the UK, around two families are told their child has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. We fund leading research projects to deliver new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. With your help we can save more young lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In June 2010, Alex Noble was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer.  Despite the bravest of battles, Alex died, aged 4, in September 2012.

Inspired by his life, I am running the London Marathon to raise funds for the Neuroblastoma Society.  Their sole purpose is the relief of children suffering from neuroblastoma and to achieve this it raises funds for UK medical research into improving both diagnosis and treatment of the disease, with well over 90% of funds raised being spent directly in helping to fight this awful disease.
