Donating my Hair · 10 June 2015

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

hair has been cut thank you to everyone who has donated so far

hair was going to be cut today but hairdressers had to change days so it will now be on Friday.

I am doing this because recently my nieces friend has recently been diagnosed with cancer she is only 10. She has lymphoma leukemia and is going through her treatment but with the chemo shes going to have she may lose her hair so, which made me log into if you can donate your own hair. Which is were I found out  about the little princess trust and saw that they made wigs for children who are going through chemo. So, i decided from there thats what I was going to so On wednesday 10th june 2015 I will be having my long her cut to a short style which I am not going to feel at all comfy with but i will remember that I did it for a very good cause. I have also set a limit to 350 as that is how much it cost for one wig to be made. I will be writting a blog on it so keep an eye on lauracornblog.wordpress.com for before and after photos
