Story

Four years ago our son Seb was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the age of 23. It was devastating news for Seb at such a young age and without our amazing NHS supporting him, he would not have made it through. I would like to say thank you to everyone on the colorectal team and in particular ward 5B at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Seb had a major operation which saved his life and I cannot thank them enough for this and for their care and support they gave him and us all as a family. Seb has made a full recovery and is now back to his old self and he and his girlfriend Mollie are expecting their first baby! The colorectal team continue to look after and monitor him and we are extremely grateful to them all.
