Normanby Hall Adventure Race & Bale Jump · 8 March 2020
Almost 3 years in remission, we got the devastating news my cancer was back, Secondary in my Lungs. Since November I've been having gruelling chemotherapy, scans & hospital appointments. All this wouldn't have been possible again if it wasn't for the amazing Team Verrico (and Guys Hospital London). They were there again, just like the first time with amazing support.
⭐UPDATE⭐ At the end of January we found out the chemo wasn't working & the tumour was still growing. Monday 24th February I started immunotherapy & a clinical trial, I'll be having this for the next 48 weeks. As always Team Verrico have our backs yet again.
On Sunday March 8th 2020, I was supposed to be doing the Normanby Hall Adventure Race, to raise valuable funds for this amazing charity. Sadly I won't be able to as I am too unwell. However my amazing 6 year daughter & my friends amazing 8 year old twin boys wanted to help. They're going to be doing the Junior Bale Jump. Its around a 1km route and a combination of on road / on grass running with plenty of bales to jump under and crawls nets to go through.
Then straight after my lovely husband Chris & my fantastic friends, Kate, Steve & Paul are doing the Normanby Hall Adventure Race. Taking place over 10kms of cross country horse course with water / mud / sand / crawl nets and jumps... lots and lots of jumps! They all wanted to do this to raise valuable funds for Team Verrico, so they can help more families like ours with more tomorrows.
⭐⭐UPDATE⭐⭐ Mia's school friends Ruby & Emily, and Oscar & Toby's school friend Alex are doing the Bale Jump too. These amazing little people are doing it for Team Verrico too.
Therefore we would be extremely grateful for any sponsors no matter how big or small, for this amazing Cancer Charity. It will mean so much to us & Team Verrico.
