Story
Dear All,
I am once again taking part in the Marsden March this year on the 16th March 2014 to raise funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity (RMCC). As many of you know this is a cause close to my heart as Jason received much of his treatment there. I made him a promise after we finished last year’s walk that we would do it again together this year, unfortunately he is not here to join me, but my friend Jen is keeping me company and we will walk in his honour this year.
The Marsden March is a 14-mile sponsored walk between The Royal Marsden’s hospitals in Chelsea and Sutton. In 2013 over 4,500 supporters, staff, family and friends came together to take on cancer, raising a phenomenal £1.18 million.
All funds raised go directly to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, so every pound donated will help to provide the best possible diagnosis, treatment and care for those affected by cancer.
