Follow our progress at my team blog: Giddy Heights - trek to Nepal

For the last 12 months I've been supporting a team of 22 amazing people involved in foster care with their challenge to raise almost £3,000 each for the Fostering Network.

Now we're ready to take on the Annapurna mountains in Nepal, and lend a hand at two local children's projects in Pokhara.

The projects we’re supporting are: StarChildren  which gives a home to children orphaned by HIV/AIDS, and Everest Children’s Home which provides orphaned children with shelter, education and medical care.

The offline total shows you how the team as a whole are doing - they've already beaten their £60,000 team target and are going strong. Please dig deep and help these three brilliant charities turn around the lives of vulnerable children in the UK and Nepal.
