Event: Everest Base Camp Trek, from 5 November 2022 to 21 November 2022
In November 2022 a team of Julia's House supporters will embark on a challenging 12-day trek to the foot of the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest, raising vital funds for life-limited children and their families.

Story

I have signed up to take part in the Trek of a life time to Everest Base Camp to help raise vital funds for Julia’s House, the Dorset and Wiltshire Children’s Hospice.

I have fully funded this trip myself so all funds raised will go directly to Julias House.

The children and families that Julia’s House care for face challenges every day and so I have decided to take on a challenge of my own to help fundraise for these families.

On November 05th 2022 I will fly to Katmandu as part of a team to take on the biggest challenge of my life, Everest Base Camp. I am aiming to raise £2000, which could help pay for exhausted parents to have a break, whilst knowing their poorly child is in safe hands.

Julia’s House provides frequent, flexible care for children with life-limited or life-threatening conditions to give their parents a much-needed break. Amazingly, Julia’s House has to raise 95 per cent of the money it needs each year to run this vital service which is why I have chosen to support them. Your kind sponsorship will make a life-changing difference to these families.
