RSPCA Derby is an independent and self-funded charity caring for abused, neglected and abandoned animals. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome hundreds of dogs, cats, rabbits and small furries each year, with running costs of over £12,000 per WEEK.

Story

Hello, my name is Laura. For some crazy reason, I have decided to jump out of a plane over 10.000ft in the air, in aid of charity!

The RSPCA situated in Derby, has always been close to my heart. I have been fundraising for the charity for over a year. However, I thought it was time to do something ‘daring’ like a parachute jump, to gain your sponsorship to raise as much money towards animal welfare.

The RSPCA is an independent charity, therefore relying heavily on donations and fundraising.  The centre needs to raise proceeds of over £7000 a week to fund the invaluable work they do.

Whilst volunteering at the charity, I was able to see first-hand how amazing the staff were in giving unwanted animals a second chance in life. I personally have adopted four animals from the centre. Without the RSPCA's support they wouldn't be the loving animals they are today.

Any monetary donations will be greatly appreciated by me, the RSPCA and of course by all the animals you will help.

Thank you.

P.S Wish me luck!
