It seems like everyone you to talk to now has been affected by Cancer in one way or another. 

Personally, in the last year:

My neighbours lost their son to Osteosarcoma, aged 13

I lost an amazing friend and colleague to bowel cancer, only in her 30s

Another amazing friend had life changing surgery to be cancer free, aged 40

A childhood friend's brother is undergoing palliative treatment for metastatic lung cancer, he is in his 40s

When i complete this hike i will be walking with two friends who are cancer survivors. We need MORE survivors and we need our loved ones and their families to be supported.
