Lee, Craig, Vic, Robert, Gary, Connor will be arriving at the Lake District on the 24th of June to start our walk, we will be aiming to returning home to Easington Colliery on 25th June to arrive at Les’s memorial seat at Easington Colliery pit car park. The walk is over 70 miles.

We will be doing this walk in memory of Les Kennedy who lost his battle to pulmonary fibrosis on 26th June 2022 and also to raise as much awareness and funds for all the people who are currently battling this cruel disease ❤️ Les was a true warrior and fought so hard for many years with pulmonary fibrosis and was took too soon at the young age of 59💙. We would love to help raise more awareness to help people breath easy, as every breathe matters❤️

Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is a growing community of patients, families, researchers and healthcare professionals striving to find a cure for pulmonary fibrosis so that everyone affected by the disease has a better future. We provide personalised support to patient and families - and raise awareness of pulmonary fibrosis through campaigning, fundraising and education. We are also committed to funding research to improve the quality of life for people living with pulmonary fibrosis today and tomorrow.
