I am raising money for Schoolreaders. Did you know that before Covid-19, 1 in 4 children left primary school unable to read well? The statistics after covid disruptions are even more alarming!  If children can't read well when they leave primary school, they will struggle with their secondary education, finding a job, and helping their own children learn to read. The funds I raise will enable Schoolreaders to recruit and place volunteers in a local primary school at no cost to the school, so every child has the opportunity to catch up with vital reading skills. Every £30 will provide individual reading support for one child with a Schoolreaders volunteer each week for a whole year.
