Story
Hi,
My name is Laura and I plan to run the Yorkshire 10 mile run in October and whilst getting hot and sweaty thought I would raise money for a local charity Barnsley Hospital Tiny Hearts Appeal.
Firstly, I don't have children of my own and can only imagine the emotional roller-coaster when a friend of mine recently gave birth to their baby girl Bella Grace at just 28 weeks weighing a tiny 1lb 15oz. My heart was touched by the news and made me think of the work done by the staff on the Special Care Baby Unit which helps to save the lives of babies who are too eager to meet their mummy and daddy. Barnsley Hospital Tiny Hearts Appeal aims to raise £1 million to build a new Special Care Baby Unit so any money I can raise towards this target will help to make a difference towards the lives of babies like Bella Grace and their families. Together let's help to give premature babies the best possible start in life.
Thanks for taking time to visit my JustGiving page and please remember every little helps to make a difference. For more information on Tiny Hearts Appeal please visit the link below.
