We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Having celebrated my 21st birthday this year I decided to set myself the challenge of raising at least £3000 for The Brain Tumour Charity.  I have already raised over £500 so far but I wanted to set myself a big challenge so have decided to walk with my family the 51km of the Basingstoke Canal over 4 days.

I chose this challenge as a fun way to recreate the sponsored walk we did in the summer of the year 2000;  I was recovering from surgery and chemo after being diagnosed with a brain tumour when I was two years old.  The photo is of me and my little sister Katie on the walk.  For that walk I spent most of the time being pushed in a buggy but this time I will be walking all the way. We might be recreating some of these photos too.

The Brain Tumour Charity is very special to me and my family; they supported me and my family when I was ill and I now volunteer twice a week for the charity. I am also a Brain Tumour Charity Young Ambassador.

I will be very grateful for any donation you would like to give.
