My name is Alfie Hadden and I am 4 years old. On Saturday 25th July I am going to do a 5k run to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy. It is a very important charity to me as my Auntie Emma has this condition and I really want to raise lots of money to try and help people. ❤️

A little more about Emma  💕

 I was diagnosed at 7 years old with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive muscle wasting condition which causes weakness in my arms and legs. This means I can’t lift my arms, have zero strength and unable to walk. I use a powered wheelchair and require the support of carers for most aspects of my daily life. I require help with simple things like brushing my hair and I can’t raise my arms to hug my family or scratch an itch. My heart and breathing muscles can also be affected so I require regular checks of my heart and respiratory system. My condition is progressive so I will gradually lose more ability as I get older.
