Throughout the month of January I will be completing 5K a day in aid of Cancer Research. Sadly cancer affects too many individuals and their families. My family being one of them. I have been apprehensive about sharing our circumstances however I hope my efforts will help to raise awareness and positively impact other families  in similar situations.

Please find my mum’s story below:

“ In 2015 was diagnosed with breast cancer. Following surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy I remained cancer free for 5 years. Unfortunately this year I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer which I live with and fight each day. Medical interventions are continuing to improve but so much more needs to be done to help people survive this disease. I am very proud that Laura has decided to do something positive in difficult circumstances. I hope you will support her endeavour to raise money for Cancer Research and their ongoing efforts to beat cancer. Thank you.”
