Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page!

On the 4th of May I will be running the 6.2 mile leg of the Belfast Marathon to raise money for Acheru, a hospital for disabled children in East Africa. It is funded by Africare, and is based in Kambebe in Uganda.

Africare is a small, Northern Ireland based Christian charity, which has been working in Uganda for many years now. While working in Ugandan hospitals, the charity noted the challenges faced by disabled children in a country where a disability is viewed as a curse. They strive to care for and value each and every child, and wish to reach out to many more across the country.
