Join people across the country on 24th May for the National Tapathon. Learn a routine inspired by Roy Castles record breaking performance and dance along with hundreds of people from the comfort of your own home.

Story

I'm busy learning a new dance routine inspired by Roy Castle's famous 1977 world record performance outside BBC TV Centre.   On Sunday 24th May I'm going to join people dancing the same routine at the same time from the comfort of our own homes, to support people living with lung cancer.

Any money donated to my fundraising page will go towards demand for the Ask the Nurse helpline, which has increased by 56% since January.  At a time when there is so much uncertainty regarding treatment, shielding and hospital visits, the charity has shifted priorities to cope with the increased demand to ease patients anxiety and has set up a new Keep in Touch Support Service.  Members of the support team call patients and carers on a regular basis to ensure they are ok and help them resolve any issues they might have during COVID-19.

I'm looking forward to dancing in memory of my Dad (he used to say he wished he learnt to tap!) while raising money for a worthy cause.
