The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe and to keep grieving families supported. We fund life-saving research, empower families with expert baby safety advice and support grieving families through their darkest days. We won’t give up until no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly.

Story

We are all taking part in the Bristol 10K to help and support are best friends Emma and Matt who sadly lost their beautiful little boy Teddy at the precious age of 11 months to SIDS.

Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is the sudden and unexplained death of an infant where no cause is found after detailed post mortem.

Over 300 babies still die every year of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), in the UK.

Research has shown that several maternal and infant care factors are more commonly associated with babies who die of SIDS than those who survive.  While it is clear that not all the factors are modifiable, there are some that are amenable to change in order to reduce the risk of SIDS.  As such, The Lullaby Trust, along with many other organisations, provides advice for parents to reduce the risk of SIDS.

We would like to see that number reduce and with your help we can, please donate as much or as little as you can as all money raised will be going to a great cause.
