At the start of 2023, I promised myself this was the year for change. The year I started taking care of myself and doing things that are just for me! 

I applied for the CoppaFeel! trek with Gi in January, crossed my fingers and waited! Cancer has affected my family so much and CoppaFeel! are the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim to instil a new healthy behaviour that could one day save a life. They are on a mission to ensure breast cancer is diagnosed early and correctly by getting the nation to check their boobs/chest regularly. They want to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to get to know what is normal for them and empower young people to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.

So here I am...spending a week taking on the biggest challenge of my life! The girl that's never even left Jack for one night...is now leaving him for an entire week because it's time to just be Laura and raise vital funds for this incredible charity!
