Story
As you know I have been struggling this last year or so. My grandad has vascular dementia, and he is deteriorating rapidly and is like a different person every time I see him and its heart breaking to watch. I have been trying to come up with positive ways to embrace it rather than look at all the negatives. As some of you may know I have recently based my work and contextual shoots around him, by doing this I was able to spend quality time with them while I could and still be able to produce work for university.
Rather than sit back and watch I want to help other families who are in situations like mine get the support they need for other members who may suffer with illnesses like these. Lockdowns not helped any of it and I would like to do something to help others!
I am doing a charity skydive for dementia / Alzheimer’s Society on the 3rd September 2021, Whitchurch.
I will be jumping from 10,000 feet.
It will be recorded so all can see from my perspective from start to finish!
And hopefully a few photographs to keep and look back on.
It’s a sponsored one and all donations go directly to that charity! I would be really grateful if you could take a moment of your time to have a look and contribute a little something no matter how small to this amazing cause.
I am thankful for any support I am able to get, and It is very close to my heart and would appreciate if you would share it on also!
