Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 14th November I hiked the Inca Trail.
The Inca Trail is in South America and is 25 miles long, it reaches an elevation of 13,776 feet ending at the glorious ruins of Machu Picchu. I will be spending four days and three nights completing the expedition.
This is part of my 3 month trip travelling around South America.
I chose to do the Inca Trail not only for the amazing experience and to challenge myself mentally and physically but to raise money for the Selden Centre.
I have worked at the Selden Centre for nearly 4 years. I love my job!
For those who don't know the Selden Centre is an assessment and treatment unit for adults with learning disabilities who have challenging behaviour, mental health needs and other complex needs.
Our patients have a variation of sensory needs which is why I would like to raise money to go to towards refurbishing our sensory room. It needs updating and is very expensive to do this.
The money will also be going towards our Allotment which is a on going project.
This money will really make a difference to adults with learning disabilities! Thank you! :)
