Proudly serving the community of East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire since 1987, we provide specialist palliative & end-of-life care to people facing a terminal illness. We're committed to giving families choices about the care they receive, providing the best support at home & at the Hospice.

Story

Chris Thain was more than a keen cyclist. His passion for the sport was what made him who he was, made him tick.

Sadly despite his racehorse fitness this wonderful man was taken from us all too soon to bladder cancer back in 2015.

The Thames Hospice provided us unwavering support and as much comfort and care to Chris as possible in his last days.

This September his wife Barbara and daughter in law Laura will be stepping into Chris' cleated shoes and braving 37 miles from London to Windsor In order to raise money for Thames Hospice. Now they are by no means Tour De France worthy! Both are relatively new to the lycra world of road cycling however they are women on a mission to make Chris proud.

Your bit is simple, but can help support others that are unfortunate enough to need the Thames Hospice...All we ask is that you give as much as you are able and willing to this worthy cause and support two ladies just doing their bit to honour someone they love.

Thank you
