I have worked for NE-AS for 5 years now and I see how our schools and other services help Children, Young People and adults with a range of Neurodiversity needs every day.

I have previously raised money for NE-AS by completing the Great North Run and the 100k Race to the Stones. I was due to complete Race to the Castle in Northumberland last year for NE-AS but Covid-19 pandemic prevented that. With social distancing measures in place for the athletes it is taking place on June 26th this year. Just prior to the first Lockdown Thornhill Park School moved to a new site and we want to raise money for a new play equipment for the garden which will meet the sensory needs of our learners. This again has been postponed due to Covid-19 and I want to start up the fundraising now.
