Story

The end of October this year will mark 5 years since my beautiful Mum died after a very short fight with cancer. The people of St Barnabas were there for her and my Dad in the worst few days of their lives, making her as comfortable as possible in her own home right till the end.

On 10-11 September I'm taking part in the two-day Rat Race Coast to Coast adventure race. Its billed as a "breath taking 105 mile route through some of the most mysterious and wild locations in Scotland". I think its going to be pretty painful but I'm hoping to enjoy the sights of Cawdor Castle, Loch Ness and Glen Coe a little bit along the way.

If you would like to donate anything to the amazing local Lincolnshire charity of St Barnabas Hospice you'll definitely spur me on to ignore the pain and push that little bit harder!

Thank you for anything you can give, especially  at a time when the cost of living is difficult for many. xx
