The 24-Hour Volleyball Challenge 2018 · 17 October 2018

Through our "hand-up, not just a hand-out" approach, we provide supportive local services and opportunities, empowering those experiencing homelessness, vulnerability in housing, domestic abuse, addiction, isolation, mental health challenges, and poverty, towards more promising futures

Story

The University of Warwick Volleyball Club decided to support a Leamington Spa based charity Helping Hands by organising various charity events.

The Helping Hands Community Project is a relatively new charity which does an outstanding job in improving the local community's living conditions, supporting local homeless people, or those in need. Helping Hands creates opportunities for these people to feel better about themselves, be more active in the community and get back into work.

The 24-Hour Volleyball Challenge will be held at the University of Warwick from the 17th of October noon until the 18th of October noon. We will play volleyball at the piazza for 24 hours - anyone can join and donate to support a great cause.

Our target this year is to raise 650 Pounds. This page is one of the ways towards achieving the goal. Feel free to donate online as much as you wish.

Thank you for helping us out!
