Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  Please sponsor me online for the bears, dogs and cats in Asia.  Animals Asia Foundation's website is www.animalsasia.org - please go and visit it to see the brilliant work they are doing.  You've probably seen how these animals suffer - they are regularly on the national news.  You may know the bears better as 'moon' bears.  AAF have, to date, rescued 198 of them.  The photo above is Jasper, one of four recently rescued bears.  Gorgeous isn't he!  I won't go into gruesome details about what they do to these poor creatures, but if you want to learn more, visit AAF's website.  The charity also rescue dogs and cats who are kept in awful conditions and are treated so appallingly - awaiting their fate of landing on someone's plate or to make a coat for someone.  Again, I won't go into the gruesome details here, but I would urge you to visit AAF's website to enlighten yourself on the barbaric treatment of all these animals.  Sir Paul McCartney has recently boycotted the area after a recent visit.  Lots more people, including Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have also rescued lots of dogs after various visits.  It really is horrific to think that anyone can treat animals in such a hideous way.
