This year I have decided that I am going to run the Great North Run for Christian Aid. As most of you know, the country of Uganda has a special place in my heart, as I spent 5 months there with some of the most amazing people I will ever meet. I will never ever forget the time I had there. The amount of poverty in a place like Uganda is clear to see as soon as you enter the country and it was a real eye opener for me.

Christian Aid is a Charity that works in many countries like Uganda to bring an end to poverty- tackling its root cause as well as its effect. It also provides help to countries that are in a state of Emergency. Its work has a massive impact on the lives of millions. 

Personally, I want to help this charity so much because its aim is massive, but it believes that it can be reached, and this goal is one that I would absolutely love to see in my lifetime. 

Christian Aid has a vision- an end to poverty- and we believe that vision can become a reality.
