As you are all aware I’m a twit at the best of times but I seem to have excelled myself this month and signed up for a slightly moronic challenge through work…..it’s called ‘Total Warrior’ and consists of a 10k run with a few added extras….

As many of you know I have had a lot of chat over the last couple of years about doing something challenging since I finished rowing (yes that was nearly 7 years ago…) but not much action so I’m hoping this will fill that little hole in my life!

 

The Charity we are raising money for is Matthew's Friends. Having not known a whole lot about Epilepsy myself I wasn’t initially aware about the devastating effects it can have on someone and their family, Matthew’s Friends raises money for a very specific diet for sufferers that can actually reduce their seizures by over 50% and when you see the distressing video of Matthew himself enduring one of these attacks it starts to all make it a little more real.
