Vitality Liverpool Half Marathon 2016 · 13 March 2016 ·
Pharmacists serve patients and the wider public seven days a week, whilst also facing challenges to their health and wellbeing including financial hardship, health and mental health problems and the stresses of patient-facing professional conduct in difficult circumstances. Pharmacist Support is an independent charity working to support pharmacists, former pharmacists and pharmacy students and their families, providing help and support in times of need.
On Sunday 13th March 2016, Michael Champion and Laura Sile will be running the Liverpool half marathon in support of this fantastic charity. Any support you can give to help pharmacists (past, present and future) in times of need will be greatly appreciated.
About the runners:
Michael is a final year pharmacy student at the University of East Anglia, and is also Secretary General of the British Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (BPSA). This is his first charity running event.
Laura is a second year pharmacy student at Liverpool John Moores Univesity, and is also Pennine Area Coordinator of the BPSA. This is her second charity event in support of Pharmacist Support.
