Story

Hello :)

I am planning a hike up Slieve Martin including the kiddies🤩 Sunday 20th February 2022
I thought it would be a fun family day and help to raise awareness and a few pound for Group B Strep.

As most of you know when Charlie was just 3 months old he took very sick with a GBS infection ( we had never heard of it before this)
Fast forward almost 5 years and little Gracie took the same infection and was a very sick baby in hospital only a matter of weeks ago. Once again, thanks to the doctors they are both doing amazing 🥰

I am so so grateful for all the help our two babies received and would love to help raise money that will in turn help other families and research towards helping prevent devastating infections in babies.

If you are in a position to doante please do, if not, even a like or share can really go a long way.

Goup B Streptococcus is the UK's most common cause of life-threatening infection in newborn babies and of meningitis in babies under age 3 months. On average in the UK, at least-two babies a day develop a group B Strep infection -one baby a week dies from their GBS infection, and-one baby a week survives with long-term disabilities – physical, mental or both.Yet most group B Strep infections are preventable. Group B Strep Support informs families & health professionals about group B Strep to save tiny lives.
