Lauren's locks snipped for springboard · 28 April 2015

Springboard Opportunity Group is for children with additional needs and disabilities from birth to 5 years and their families across North Somerset. It offers play, learning and care sessions at Clevedon and Weston super Mare. We have an Early Years' Inclusion Service and Family Support Service.

Story

My name is Lauren and I am 8 years old. My little brother Jacob was born early at 32 weeks. He is now 17 months old and has additional needs. He still cannot sit up by himself or walk. We don't know why yet. He goes to Springboard which is a wonderful place for him and my Mummy to go.

Charities like Springboard aren't always heard of until you need them, which is why I want to spread the word of all the fantastic work they do for hundreds of families across North Somerset; and to also raise as much money as possible to express our gratitude as without donations places like Springboard couldn't exist.

Also I am going to send the hair I have cut off to the Little Princess Trust so they can make a wig from my hair for poorly children.

Please give what you can to help this wonderful charity.

Thank you
Love Lauren xxx
