Thanks for taking time to visit my just giving page.
I have decided this year to do the 5km Tough Mudder again, for the mental health charity Mind.
Many people around me have struggled with different mental health issues, and I have seen how charities such as Mind help people, particularly in times of crisis.
Lots of people are fighting an inner battle that unfortunately we cannot see or they may not be able to speak about. Over 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in our lifetime.
Mind aims to improve mental health support for those suffering, increase the understanding of mental health and awareness of different mental health problems.
So this is my opportunity to give back and raise some money as well as challenging myself! Here are some examples of how your donations could help...
£3 - Could put our Find the Words guidebook in local GP surgeries, helping people to make the crucial first step of asking their doctor for support.
£8 - £8 could answer a call to our Infoline, providing someone with vital support and information about help in their area.
£21 - could run our online peer support community Elefriends for an hour, helping people connect with others and feel less alone.
£50 - could help us campaign for better mental health services from the Government, so more people get the support they need, as soon as they need it.
