Jack has been through more in his 21 years than most people in a lifetime. In a year, he lost his mum, stepdad, best friend (to a horrific murder) and his dog. As a result he became depressed and suicidal, took drugs and regularly self-harmed. YG staff were there every step of the way. Their youth-workers supported him through a 12-week development course, they provided him with 1-2-1 counselling and their drop-in team advised and guided him back into work.
