My name is Lauren, I am eight years old and will be swimming the equivilant distance of the English Channel (22 miles) in my local pool, that is 1416 lengths, fundraising for the World Wildlife Fund WWF to raise money to protect endangered wildlife.

I started my swim on March 20th and I have swam nearly a thousand lengths so far. I am hoping to finish by the end of June.
