Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. This year I will be taking on the Sheffield Half Marathon - on Sunday 26th March - in support of Genetic Disease Research at the University of Sheffield. 

Not only is this challenge an incentive for me to keep running over the winter 😅 but the money raised is supporting Sheffield's pioneering research. I've recently started working at the University, and have had an insight into the amazing work taking place to find a cure for genetic conditions. In the UK alone, 1 in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder. Sheffield's research will change the lives of families who are desperately seeking a treatment for their loved-one.
