We are a multi-ethnic city centre English-language Orthodox Christian church. We are raising much-needed funds for the upkeep of our Victorian church building to enable us to maintain our presence in central Bristol for Orthodox believers and enquirers of all backgrounds.

Robert & I will be completing the Greenman route that goes around the beautiful city of Bristol, following the distributed woodland of the Community Forest Path. Proceeds will be going towards the building fund at church. 

We have had a professional assessment made of our church building and there are a number of things we need to do fairly urgently. Although we have sole use and responsibility for the building, we lease it and so we are unable to apply for grants. Please be generous: it may seem unglamorous, but we need to do this work in order to have a worthy and safe place to worship and then to leave in good order to those who come after. This includes but is not limited to:

Repairing damaged masonry
Removing plants from high level guttering
Repairing damaged/missing glazing 
Repointing the walls
