One of the two charities I am raising money for is cancer research. 

My mums initial treatment of chemotherapy to treat her Lymphoma was unfortunately unsuccessful at keeping the cancer away. This meant that she had to have a very new treatment called CAR-T at the beginning of last year. This specific treatment is very new, with my mum being the first NHS patient to receive this treatment at the Royal Marsden, who did an incredible job at looking after her. Without the hard work from charities like cancer research and donations made from the public, treatments like this wouldn’t exist. Therefore, every penny that is donated will contribute to the increase in cancer survival rates.
